What Parents Are Saying
FAQ
What does 99.9% caffeine-free mean?
Well, 99.9% caffeine-free does not mean ZERO caffeine.
Coffee and cacao (i.e. chocolate) naturally contain caffeine that cannot be 100% removed.
The great news is that decaffeination technology has evolved significantly over the years.
Today, water-processing decaffeination can remove up to 99.9% of caffeine from coffee, cacao, and even tea, without the use of any chemicals.
If you want numbers, here's a quick reference on caffeine content:
Kiid Coffee (1 serving): 1-6mg
Chocolate (1 oz): 3-12mg
Soda (12 fl oz): 30-70mg
Regular Coffee (8 fl oz): 80-180mg
'Energy' Drinks (8 fl oz): 100-200mg
How do I prepare Kiid Coffee?
- Heat 6 fl oz (3/4 cup) of milk to HOT (not boiling). Dairy or plant-based milk both work well.
- Add the single serving packet.
- Stir (or froth) to dissolve.
Note: Kiid Coffee doesn't contain sugar, fillers, or over-processed ingredients which means it might not be as easy to dissolve as a typical hot chocolate powder.
What age is Kiid Coffee for?
Kiid Coffee was created for kids age 4 and up, but we've also caught parents sneaking some for themselves. If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please talk with your pediatrician.
Why does Kiid Coffee have prebiotic fiber, vitamins, and minerals?
National health studies have shown kids in America are consistently deficient in a wide range of nutrients (like fiber, vitamins, and minerals). For most parents, this won't be a surprise. We all know it's hard to get kids the essentials during meals.
Kiid Coffee exists because we realized we could create an insanely nutritious (and delicious) KIDS beverage by combining multiple sources of nutrition into one simple routine: morning coffee.
With one serving of Kiid Coffee, kids can now have two of the world's most antioxidant-rich superfoods (organic, decaffeinated coffee and raw cacao), prebiotic fiber (inulin), an essential vitamin and mineral blend, and all of the good stuff found in their favorite milk.
Yeah, we're on a mission to keep kids strong and healthy.
