Why Does Kiid Coffee Exist?
By age 7, Ethan had consistently shown a keen interest in Dad's morning coffee. What started as innocent sips quickly became a family project — when Ethan broke his leg twice within 13 months, co-founder David Sanborn realized that despite the appearance of a nutritious diet, there was a serious lack of micronutrients in many of the foods Ethan was consuming.
When Ethan had the idea to sell "coffee for kids," David thought "that is crazy" — which also meant it was something worth talking about. Together, father and son set out to create the BEST way to combine multiple sources of nutrition into one simple routine: morning 'coffee.'
